Remember 230 years ago when France had some weird decimal time system? Well in 1998 Swatch made something similair: Swatch Internet Time
Each day is divided into 1000 ".Beats". The thing is that it's the same across the globe, so you don't have to deal with time zones. As an example, @000 is 01:00 UTC. It was also used in Fantasy Star online. While it's obsolete now, I think it's somewhat funny and I have installed a programme which puts Internet Time in my menu bar.
